Optimization of Thinned Circular Antenna Array Pattern using Dynamic Differential Evolution

Thinning array antennas have become one of the best approaches towards minimizing side lobes and achieving required FNBW SLL. Unlike all element arrays, thinning systematically removes some fraction elements activates remaining to obtain intended pattern without degrading performance antenna array. An evolutionary algorithm is gaining growth in providing better optimization solutions than other computational algorithms. In this research, Standard Differential Evolution (SDE) Dynamic (rDE) utilizing a range binary mapping possibilities been used achieve Circular Antenna Array (CAA). Experimental result shows that D.E. with dynamic mutation factor technique has outperformed fulfilling desired radiation for thinned CAA compared variants also exhibited finer solution All Element (AEA) Fire Fly Algorithm (FFA).
